Wafer exists to meet the physical and the spiritual needs of the inner city homeless and needy by offering them Clothes that they may be warm, Food so they can be strong and Christ that they may have hope for eternity. Wafer is based upon James 2:15-17 "depart in peace and be warmed and filled"
We provide a warm Hearty meal donated by dedicated volunteers; clothing and personal products to people who need assistance on a weekly basis.

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of them says to them,"Depart in peace, be warm and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works it is dead.
